She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorotha Geier of Virginia and Michael Geier; and her brother Carl Geier. She is survived by: her husband Vincent R. Charlton, Jr.; her siblings, Michael Geier, Paul Geier, Patrick Geier of California, John Geier of Nevada and Betty Remhild of California; her children, Vincent M Charlton (Marie) of Culpeper, Sharon L. Adams (James) of Chester and Ginger I. Murphy (Jim) of Winchester; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Rebecca, Tiffani, Joshua, Daniel, Gabrielle and Victoria. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, they family asks that donations be made in Doris's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
