She was predeceased by: her mother Esther Larson; her husband Frederick Walter Brandt; and her siblings, Asta Miller (Paul) and Leonard Larson (Phyllis). She is survived by: her children, Barbara Brandt, Elizabeth Berry (Matthew) of Culpeper and Rick Brandt of Richmond; her grandson Frederick Berry (Nicole); her nieces and nephews, Mark Miller and Diddi Azhar; her brother-in-law Gerald Brandt (Kathy); and her caregiver Lisa Culver. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Doris's name.
