He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy McPeak; his son Wayne McPeak (Patsy); his siblings, Maudie Dodson and Leroy McPeak; and his grandsons, Earl Jenkins and Little Chester McPeak.

He is survived by: his children, Sherry Bowers, Maynard McPeak (Mary), Harold McPeak (Teresa), Nancy McPeak, Chester McPeak (Connie) and Carlyle McPeak; and his siblings, Catherine Hoffman (Charles), Ellis McPeak (Linda), Haven McPeak (Barbara) and Linda McPeak.
