He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Albert and Lorraine Miles; his uncle Albert Miles, Jr.; and his grandparent Elver Jackson. He is survived by: his parents, Earlene Miles Smith and Kenneth L. Smith; his sister Amanda Smith; his nephews, Zachery and Chase Smith; his uncle John K. Smith (Gloria); his aunts, Monedia Lewis (Otis), Ruth Jackson and Alberta Smith (Ronnie); his great-uncle Edward "Gus" Moore (Debbie); and his godchildren, Zoren Yates, Brycen and Alyvia Butler. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
