We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Charles Grover Southard of Culpeper, Virginia, born in Syria, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement G. Southard and Naomi Coates Southard; his daughter Teresa L. Southard; his grandson Justin Chad Pullen; and his siblings, Claude W. Southard, Rachel Smith and Marie Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Irva Walker Southard; his children, Carolyn S. Kirby (Les) of Mechanicsville, Virginia and C. Gregory Southard of Culpeper, Virginia; his grandsons, Jonathan Kirby of Mechanicsville, Kristopher Kirby (Karissa) of Mechanicsville, Blair Pullen of Charlotte and Zachary Southard of Locust Grove, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Shane of Mechanicsville, Heather of Mechanicsville, Karson of Mechanicsville, Aydan of Mechanicsville and McKenna Kirby of Mechanicsville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 mandates, masks are required to enter the building.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to At Home Hospice Care, 8149 Walnut Grove Road, Mechanicsville, Virginia 23111.
