He was predeceased by: his wife Rebecca Mae Cropp; his son Steven Cropp; and his parents, Samuel J. Cropp, Sr. and Helen Pollard Cropp. He is survived by: his children, Philip Samuel of Barboursville, VA, Jeffrey Cropp of Madison, VA, Gregory Tanner of Jacksonville, FL, Pamela Long of Orange, VA and Donna Taylor of Remington, VA; his sister Jeanette Cropp of Boca Raton, FL; and his daughter-in-law Francine Cropp of Culpeper, VA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
