Betty Sinclair left this world on July 31, 2024 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Sinclair and Mary Daly Sinclair; her husband John H. Manning; her son Scot A. Manning; her sisters, Mary Ann Sinclair Wright (Russell A.) and Cecelia Sinclair Christman; and her great-niece Louise Littaver Sinclair.

She is survived by: her brother John Henry Sinclair (Christy) of Warrenton; her siblings-in-law, Robert L. Christman (Linda), Helen Manning of Round Rock, TX and Bruce Manning (Linda) of Coatesville, PA; and her cousins, Bill Sinclair (Donna) of Jeffersonton, VA and Nellie Sinclair Rutherford of Rixeyville, VA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfax Autism Association or Heartland Gentiva Hospice, 493 Blackwell Rd, Suite 319, Warrenton, VA 20186.

“I first met Betty in 2020 when my mom came to Breezy Knoll. Later on, she was the highlight of the weekly Bingo games. The numbers 2-24-36 (her birthday) had to be on both cards and Snickers were her preferred prize. Betty was always in high spirits, had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed kids visiting, and never failed to laugh at my corny jokes. Bingo will never be the same without her.
