She was predeceased by: her parents, Albanus Hooper Sr. and Sarah Elliott Hooper; her daughter Rhonda Scott-Dingwall; her siblings, Ruth Henson, Erma Gibson, Ramona Kennedy, Ruben Hooper and Rommie Hooper; and her brothers-in-law, Winfield Henson, Donald Gibson and Elwood Kennedy.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred Woods of Preston, MD.; her daughters, Misty Brown, Brewer (David) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Sherri Spratt (Jeff) of Columbus, OH; her siblings, Elva Hooper (Dorsey) of Bowie, MD and Albanus Hooper Jr. (Dorothy) of Cambridge, MD; her grandchildren, Chaz White of Raleigh, NC, Travis Davis of Front Royal, VA, Ben Brown of Raleigh, NC, Shai Brown of Raleigh, NC, Christina Dingwall of Raleigh, NC and Desiree Brown of Raleigh, NC; and her goddaughter Najae Fitzhugh. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
