With heavy hearts, we announce the death of McCoy Franklin of Cullen, Virginia, who passed away on March 21, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Franklin, Sr. and R. Elizabeth Wade Franklin; his son Anthony McCoy Franklin; and his siblings, John L. Franklin, Jr., R. Eloise Waters, Harold Franklin, Sr. and Clarice Nance.

He is survived by: his wife Ruby Franklin; his daughter Resiah Scott; his grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Dana Scott (Joshua), Shakeem Cox (Mario) and Davontie Franklin; his brother Earl Franklin; his sisters-in-law, Doris Franklin and Annie Franklin; and his niece Kim Meier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
