He was predeceased by: his parents, Nettie Gregsby Bedford and Anderson Bedford. He is survived by: his sisters, Evelyn Bedford of Baltimore, MD and Sallie Watson (William) of Meherrin; his sisters-in-law, Eunice Bedford, Rosa Bedford and Barbara Tines; and his niece Dorareen Thompson of Cullen, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Jeffress Funeral Home, Inc. (227 Thomas Jefferson Hwy, Charlotte Court House, VA 23923). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Andrews Baptist Church (2200 Taro Rd, Cullen, VA 23934). A burial was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at the St. Andrews Baptist Church Cemetery (2100 Taro Rd, Cullen, VA 23934).
