She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Timberlake and Gertrude Walker Timberlake; and her brother Albert Timberlake. She is survived by: her husband Wilbert M. Steppe, Jr.; her children, Wilbert M. Steppe, III (Elizabeth), Shaun L. Steppe and Connie E. Steppe; her siblings, Charles Timberlake, James Timberlake (Priscilla), Joyce Wright (James), Joan Carpenter (Larry), Gertrude Carter (James) and Janet Timberlake; her sister-in-law Deborah Timberlake; and her grandchildren, Alexia Steppe, Madison Steppe, Shaun "Deuce" Steppe, Shayn Steppe and Aaliyah Williams. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
