With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Garrett Gurley of Crozet, Virginia, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Gurley and Lillie Pearl Gurley; his wife Janice Schoolcraft Gurley; his children, Greg, Marlina Gurley Smith and Kelly Gurley Roberts (Shawn); his grandchildren, Logan Morris, Cody Purvis, Philip Gurley, Evan Gurley, Shawn and Lillie Pearl Roberts; his great grandchildren, Maisie and Josie Purvis; and his sisters, Shelby Worley (David) and Sylvia Raybon. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and good friends and brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "someone who needs it. " (as Lee would say).
