He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pets, Tippy and Shep; his wife Winifred Boss Hannan of Crozet Virginia; his children, Winifred Hannan Ashooh (Peter Ashooh) of Stafford, Virginia, James Hannan (Anna Fisher Hannan) of Palo Alto, Christian Hannan (Nadia Tchao) of San Francisco, California and Maryann Hannan Carter (George Carter) of Leesburg; his grandchild Nicholas Ashooh (Lindsey Adams Ashooh) of Annapolis; his great grandchild James Rhys Ashooh of Stafford; and his son Ernest John Hannan.
