With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Copeland of Crozet, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rogers Copeland and Ruth Foljambe Copeland, MD; his wife Lucinda Susan "Sue" Holstein Roe; and his brother Edmund Copeland. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann, Jimmy, John, David, Timothy and Rebecca; and his sisters, Barbara and Nancy. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
