She was predeceased by: her parents, Lessie Belle Batten and John Franklin Roston; her stepfather William Henry Barnett; and her husband Robey A. Shifflett. She is survived by: her daughter Diane Elaine Shifflett of Browns Cove; and her close friend Joe Sheffield of Afton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
