He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Wood and Mary Via Thurston; his spouse Ruby Lee Thurston; his daughters, Sandra Lee Rea (Gene) of Crozet and Wanda Thurston (Betsy) of Crozet; his granddaughter Megan Brooke Talbott of Buckhannon, WV; his niece Susan Thurston; and his grandson Hunter Keith Radcliff of Buckhannon, WV.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
