She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Perdue and Hattie Perdue; her brothers, Jerry and Bobby Perdue; and her husband George Thomas Gay, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jeannie Gay Mousetis (Mike) of Newport News, Cindy Gay Hartman (Jack) of Roanoke and George Thomas Gay, III (BJ) of Waynesboro. She is also survived by her 3 children, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
