He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Herbert Breeden and Catherine Butler Breeden; and his wife Gladys Lordine Black Breeden. He is survived by: his children, Sharon Adams (Daniel) of Georgia, Teresa Riddle (Billy) of Crozet, Belinda Wright (Gordon) of Gordonsville, Lewis Breeden (Brenda) of Crozet and Carl Breeden, Jr. (Karen) of West Virginia; his sister Sandra McCoy of Oxon Hill, MD; and his close friends, Robert Horst and Bill Moye. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren.
