She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Kurtz; and her son Preston Kurtz. She is survived by: her children, George Kurtz (Linda) of Charlottesville, Virginia and Joyce Fehnel (Richard) of Whitehall, Pennsylvania.; and her siblings, Grace Kern and John Kemmerer. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
