She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Scott "Sonny" Lockard, Jr.; her parents, George B. Greene and Hilda Windsor Greene Clark; her daughter Shawn Lanette Lockard Truett; her brother Stephen Greene; and her stepfather Clayton H. Clark.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Scott Lockard Childs (Kenneth) of Crozet; her son-in-law Ben Truett of Clifton Forge; her grandsons, Kenneth Scott Childs (Tara Matsushima Childs) of Mechanicsville and Joseph McCullen Truett (Mariana Araujo) of Charlottesville; her great grandchildren, Owen Parker Childs and Delaney Ann Childs of Mechanicsville; and her sisters, Pauline Harrison, Shirley Holley and Francelia Cox.
Because of Covid 19 and the family's desire to protect friends and relatives, a private service will be held.
In lieu of flowers or memorials and to honor her life, the family asks that you reach out to someone in an assisted living facility or nursing home to bring them love and hope.
