It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Sanford Burnette of Critz, Virginia, born in Henry County, Virginia, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Cochran Burnette and Fred S. Burnette; and his siblings, Oleen Graham, Jean Freeman and Roger Burnette.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Clark Burnette; his children, Amy Beck (Jeff) of Critz, VA and Garet Burnette of Critz, VA; his siblings, Maxine Gee of Martinsville, VA and Earl Burnette of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Maghan Paszkiewicz (Jeff) and Aaron Fain; his great grandchildren, Payton, Reagan Paszkiewicz, Emmylou and Rebel Fain; and his close friend Melana Hurd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
