She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Hughes Gilley and Carrie Martin Gilley; her husband George Johnson Roop; her son Lynn Barry Roop; and her siblings, Georgia Hazel Roop, Randolph Gilley, Maynard Gilley, Harbour Gilley "Pete" and Johnnie Blaine Gilley.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Roop Handy (Hassel) of Critz, VA and Derrick Roop (Joan) of Critz, VA; her grandchildren, Kenneth Roop, Travis Roop and Dana Roop Harris; and her great grandchildren, Faith Roop Ruscelloni, Kristen, Makayleigh Harris, Cassidy, Charlotte, Sophia Roop and Joshuwa Roop.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions and guidelines mandated by the state must be followed.
