He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Simmons and Lucy Alma Simmons (Armstrong). He is survived by: his wife Lois K. Simmons; his daughters, Teresa Stewart (David) and Wanda Ellinger (Jim); his grandchildren, Daniel Stewart, Sarah Stewart, Caleb Stewart (Liz), Chad Ellinger (Kascie) and Adam Ellinger (Kristie); and his great grandchildren, Ryan Snyder, Austin Bryant, Finley Sheffer, Morgan Ellinger, Tripp Ellinger, Wyatt Ellinger and Maggie Ellinger.
