He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Caracofe (Barnette) and Nelson Caracofe; his daughter Amy Lin Caracofe; and his brother-in-law Carl Fergusen. He is survived by: his spouse Angelia Gale Caracofe (Jones); his daughter Celeste Caracofe Crudup of Zabulon, NC; and his siblings, Wanda Caracofe Fergusen of Staunton and Ronnie Caracofe (Kim) of Greenville, VA. He is also survived by three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
