It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace Bland Sr. (Crewe, Virginia), who passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Jeffries Bland; his parents, Goldie Bland, and Earl Bland, Sr.; his son Michael Jeffries; his siblings, Marcus (Duckie), Earl Bland, Jr. (Dobie), Dorothy Mae Oliver and Louise Bland; his nephew Ronnie Bland; and his brother-in-law Lee Royal Oliver.
He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Stokes, Wallace Bland, Jr. (Lowanda), Shelia Bland-Stith (Kent) and Brian Bland (Jacqueline); his siblings, Lillie Jeffries (Bland) and Edward Bland (Rowena); and his friend William Hicks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins; seven sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and a host of friends.
