"Sherry" Coates; his daughters, Susanne Coates, Mary Coates and Anne Coates; his stepchildren, Rodney, Melissa and Jessica; his grandchildren, Maryanne, Mindy, Sasha and Tristan; his stepgrandchildren, Jordin, Phil, Hallie, Chloe and Riley; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Jeanne and Ava Host; and his former wife Ida Frances Tuck Coates A. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
