She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Eugene Whitlock; and her son Eugene Whitlock, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Wanda W. Hattan (Mike) of Richmond, VA; her grandchildren, Crystal Tabib (Adam), Elizabeth Clayton (Brandon) and Joshua Whitlock; and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Ward and Harper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Crewe Baptist Church, 400 E. Virginia Ave., Crewe, VA 23930, in Thelma's memory.
