She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Wainwright Bennett Jones and William Bennett; and her sister Sallie. She is survived by: her daughters, Eleanor Foster of Atlanta, GA, Joyce Turner (Sam) of Glen Allen, VA and Jackie Mitchell (Harry) of Henrico, VA; her siblings, Lawrence, Grady (Hattie), Nathaniel (Lillian), George, Hester and Shirley; her son-in-law Ernest Laury of Forest, VA; her close friends, Carol Robinson and William Sydnor; her husband Herbert M. Foster; her daughter Ida Foster Ward; her son-in-law Ruben Ward Sr.; her daughter Blanche Foster Laury; and her siblings, Thomas, Matthew, Ethel, Carrie, Robert and Randolph. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great- great grandchildren.
