She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee McMillian and Josephine Milton McMillian; and her husband Warriner W. "Doc" Verser. She is survived by: her daughters, Daphne Norton (Glenn) of Crewe and Penny Huskey (Bobby) of Farmville; her grandsons, Chris Gregory (Robin) of Crewe and Lance Gregory (Lin) of Chesterfield; her stepgranddaughters, Nicole Martin (Jeff) and Kelsie Cawley (Shawn) of Crewe; and her caregivers, Pam, Nikki, Lou, Mary, Britini, Flora, Beverly, Alice, Debretta, Connie and Barbara. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
