He was predeceased by : his son Manuel Adams, Jr.; and his siblings, John, Doug Adams and Rossie Adams Adkins. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Whaley Adams; his son Johnny Adams; his stepson Ricky Wallace (Jackie); his grandchildren, Tori Duke (Will) and Mitch Wallace (Cate); his great grandchild Henleigh Grace Duke; and his niece Deborah Adams Wilkinson.
