He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Johnny Welford "Bubba" Long, Sr.; his grandparents, J. T. Long and Constant; his sons, Dominic and Kaiden Long; the parent of his children Haley Taylor; his mother Athena "Tina" Long; his grandmother Rosalie Long; his siblings, Anthony Verra (Shauna), Heather "Sunshine" DeSchamps (Blaze) and Tonya Hartman; and his friend Robert Langston, Sr.. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Due to the sudden tragic loss, the family is in financial need and request in his memory to accept donations to assist with the final expenses.
