He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Stinson and Annette Olive Stinson. He is survived by: his wife Anne Stinson; his daughter Annette Prewett; and his brother William Maxwell Stinson (Joan). He is also survived by friends and beloved pets.

Services will be private, and memorial contributions may be made to the Southside SPCA.

“We miss Jim very much. We only met a year ago; but we have heard many years of Jims stories of his life. He loved to talk and he loved to help anyone he could.His love and kindness and being the gentle man he was touched us deeply. Our dogs looked for him to come and go every day from across the street. He always had a chew bone to give them before he went in his house. He is missed.We will remember him always.”
