She was predeceased by: her parents, David McKinney Pendleton and Jessie White Pendleton; her sister Paulette Pendleton; and her grandchild Payton Grace Ziglar. She is survived by: her husband Charles Judson "Jud" Compton; her daughters, Penny C. Ziglar (Greg) and Cheryl C. Berumen; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Jordan, Emily, Kierstin, April and Judson; and her sister Louise P. Lewis (Wayne). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
