George Lewis Franklin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Lewis Franklin of Crewe, Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Mildred Shelton Franklin; his parents, Coy James and Edith Blanche Courtney Franklin; his granddaughter Tracy Gross; and his sisters, Clayta Anderson, June Neel, Peggy Fowler and Bertie Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, James Franklin of Johnson City, TN, Annie Snow (Randy) of Saluda, VA, Joy Duarte of Crewe, VA., Jeff Mann (Lisa) of Crewe, VA. and Brandon Franklin (Amanda) of Crewe, VA.; and his sister Barbara Guardino of Midlothian, VA.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren.
George was a founding member of the church and the family desires that in lieu of flowers, donations may made to the Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in his memory.
