He was predeceased by: his former wife Julia Brown Davis; his mother Mary Katherine Christenbury Davis; and his siblings, Robert H. Davis, Jr. and Charlotte Deane Davis Gunn. He is survived by: his children, Sharon E. Davis Santmyers (Jamie), R. Graham Davis (Amelia Davis) and Fred R. Davis, Jr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kaitlin M. Santmyers, Ryan W. Davis, William R. Davis and Christopher A. Davis; his siblings, Barbara Crispens (David) and Norman Davis; and his wife Suzanne. He is also survived by two brothers, two sisters.
