She was predeceased by: her siblings, John, Luther Pace, Charlotte Fender and Shirley Shorter. She is survived by: her nephew Bradley Fender of Crewe; her niece Kimberly Lacks of Blackstone; and her sister Ruby Southall of Amelia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Southside SPCA, 7352 Patrick Henry Highway, Meherrin, VA 23954.
