It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Pickral Fender of Crewe, Virginia, who passed away on March 4, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Pickral Fender to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her husband Julian "Danny" Fender; her children, Albert Ray Horton (Debbie) of Alabama, James Edward Thorpe (Barbara) of Mineral and Gwendolyn Ann Abernathy of Prospect; and her brothers, James Pickral of Blackstone and Ollie Pickral of Kilmarnock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
