She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stith and Mary Stith; her husband Eugene Fitzgerald, Sr.; and her son Arthur Fitzgerald, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Maxcine Jackson, Teresa Rather, Joyce Coleman (Thomas Sr.), Sharon Fitzgerald, Clarence Fitzgerald, Thomas Fitzgerald (Joan) and Eugene Fitzgerald, Jr. (Barbara). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and at 7:00 PM at the W. E. Hawkes and Son Funeral Home (504 East St, Blackstone, VA 23824). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (3171 Namozine Rd, Crewe, VA 23930).
