Andre' Ameere Oliver Obituary
Planted in memory of Andre' A. Oliver Obituary for Andre' A. Oliver Andre Ameere Oliver, (33) was born in Farmville, Virginia on April 3, 1990 to Mark A. Kirby and Gwen Oliver Kirby. He passed from death unto life and entered into eternal life on April 13, 2023.
Andre graduated from Prince Edward County High School in 2008 and enrolled in Southside Virginia Community College. Over the years, Andre held various jobs and positions and was currently employed at Farmville Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Farmville, Virginia where he was a dedicated worker and loved the staff.
Andre dedicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized at an early age. He attended church wherever the Lord led him. Andre loved to study God's word and had initiated a Bible Study with his aunts and family members a few months before his passing. His favorite scripture was, Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Andre was brilliant, very skilled, and worked well with his hands. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix anything. Andre was compassionate and had a heart for those that were less fortunate and would stop and give the shirt off of his back to help someone else in need. Andre loved family and always greeted them with a hug and a big smile on his face. Andre had his struggles and he faced many obstacles in this life, but not once did he give up. He knew his earthly journey was temporary and he believed in eternal life through Jesus Christ. He was not afraid of anything. Andre was a loyal friend and he never met a stranger; he would stop and talk to anyone and everyone.
Andre didn't have any children, but he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews (Alecea Oliver, Treyvon Oliver, Jeremiah Oliver, Tony (Marqel) Gantt, Ashante Hurt, and Cayson Oliver).
Andre will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Douglas Lee Oliver, Jr.; his grandparents, Roger and Addie Kirby; and his niece, Destiny Oliver. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Mark and Gwen Kirby; three brothers, Derrick Oliver (Christal), Antoine Oliver (Zee), Jeremy Oliver (Charissa); one sister, Antoiniece Kirby; grandmother, Betty S. Oliver; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
