He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clay and Ora Belle Worsham Clay; and his sister Ophelia Clay Bragg. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Clay of Blackstone, VA; his daughters, Shimeeka Clay and Deneen Dowtin of Blackstone, VA; his grandchildren, Vineasha Stokes, Dasia Dowtin, Deona Dowtin, Kevin Stokes Jr., Deon Clay and DaQuan Dowtin; and his brothers, Wendell Clay (Corlis) and Floyd Clay (Beverly) of Blackstone, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
