She was predeceased by: her parents, Auther Alexander Sprouse and Ruby Ardelis Carroll Barnett; her husband Peter Mayfield Forbes; her son William Mayfield Forbes; and her siblings, Thomas William, Robert Lee, John Henry Sprouse, Laura Jean Sprouse, Margaret Elizabeth Sprouse Simmons, Lillie Belle Sprouse Campbell, Lula Mae Sprouse Robertson and Sarah Louise Sprouse Stokes.
She is survived by: her grandson Wyatt Forbes; her nieces, Evonne Paiva and Stella McDonaldson; and her pet Princess.
