He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Tingler and Eva Persinger Tingler. He is survived by: his fiancée Linda Tucker Helmintoller; and his children, Scott Tingler of Roanoke, Jared Wolfe of Covington and Eva Wiseman of Covington. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
