She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edward Hickman and Elizabeth Hatcher Hickman; her husband Lee; her daughter Nancy; and her siblings, Walter Jr. and Ella Mae.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Millie), Earl (Laura) and Eddie (Roxanne); and her grandchildren, Lee (Sarah), Greg, Matthew (Kate), Leslie Spencer Haughey (Ben), Page (Stockton), Adam, Rob (Sarah), John (Carrie), Preston (Savannah), Andrew (Olivia), Mary-Claire (Terry) and Rachel (Hannah).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Covenant Arp Church (120 N Greenbriar Rd, Statesville, NC 28625). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
