Maybelle Wright Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maybelle Wright of Covington, Virginia, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sampley and Cordie Byrd Sampley; and her brothers, Don Sampley and Ferris Sampley. She is survived by: her husband Ronald E. Wright, Sr. of Covington; her children, Ronnie Wright (Debra) of Oklahoma City, OK, Debbie Stevens (Don) of Napa, ID, Patty Kernz of Ephrata, WA, Christy Waters (Tim) of Othello, WA and Mindy Evens (Blair) of Royse City, TX; and her siblings, Flora Hampton, Imogene Sampley of Odessa, WA, Frank Sampley (Karen) of Republic, WA, Eldon Sampley Sandy (Edith) and Jack Sampley (Pauline) of Moses Lake, WA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 4:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 6:00 PM.
