She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Hoke and Lelia Hoke; her husband Everett M. Tucker; and her daughter Clara Walton. She is survived by: her close friend Curtis Broughfman; her children, Susan Fridley (Tab), Everett Tucker (Reba) of Covington, James L. Tucker of Covington and Matthew Tucker (Sarah) of Covington; her siblings, Alvin Hoke (Patricia) and Emma Boswell of Maryland; and her grandchildren, Mellisa O'Conner, Jimmy Walton Jr., David Wayne Tucker, Christina Davis, Lisa Tucker, James Fridley IV and Brandon Walton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the Power House. Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Arritt Funeral Home (1102 S Highland Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lone Star Cemetery (6102 Potts Creek Rd, Covington, VA 24426).
