He is survived by: his granddaughter Tracy Rider; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Love, Vernon Love, Jr. and Helen Schrenk; and his siblings, Bertie Smith, Marie Karnes and Shelby Spahn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
