He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Massie Andrews and Hattie Wilson Peters Andrews; his sister Nellie Buchanan; his stepmother Anna "Betty" Watson Andrews; his parents-in-law, Delmar "Bert" Baker and Emma Plott Baker; and his brother-in-law Charles "Charlie" Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Baker Andrews; his children, Richard "Rickey" Andrews (Melinda) of Covington and Julie Andrews of Covington; his grandchildren, Steven Andrews (Tracy) of Roanoke, Courtney Andrews of Covington, Austin Tucker of Covington and Lakin Tucker of Covington; his great grandchildren, Kenzleigh, Brittney, Zymir, Greyson and Kiera; his godson Damien Hollenbeck; his brothers, Hershel Andrews of Covington and Larry Andrews of Covington; and his siblings-in-law, Berta Henning (Gus) of Vinton, Rebecca Mann of Clifton Forge, Susan Rock of Covington, Sandra Hernandez (Dan) of Roanoke and Richard Baker (Beverly) of Covington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
