She was predeceased by: her parents, Othor Chapman Massie and Arlena Ramsey Massie; and her siblings, Dorothy Lee "Dot" Massie Tucker, Edie Crosier, Ruth Holcomb, Tippy Harless, Irene O'Neill, Linda Smith, Lulabelle Wykle and Jerry "Buck" Massie.
She is survived by: her son Steven Goelling of Covington; her sister Ethel Van Buren of Tazewell; and her pet Maggie May. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Loving Funeral Home (350 N Maple Ave, Covington, VA 24426). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
