We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2024, at the age of 81, Joyce Ann Lilly of Covington, Virginia, born in Raleigh, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Brogan and Nina Rose Brogan; and her siblings, John Elbert Brogan, Genevieve Garten and Frances Lucas.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Preston Lilly; her children, Richard Paul Lilly (Tammy Thompson Lilly) of Covington and Paula Lilly Barton (Charles Edward Barton) of Lewisburg, WV; her granddaughter Amber Dawn Wells (Matthew) of Covington; her great grandchildren, Landon Todd Wells, Harper Grace Wells and Payton Joyce Wells; her grandson Jesse Ray Lilly (Samantha Shifflett Lilly); her great grandchildren, Noah Ray Lilly, Hayes Preston Lilly and Madison Michael Lilly; and her siblings, Woodrow Wilson Brogan (Theresa) of Cool Ridge, WV, Jean Farley of Appling, GA and Nina Dillard of Raleigh-Durham, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Alzheimer's Association Greater Richmond Chapter 4600 Cox Road, Suite 130 Glen Allen.
