It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Patrick Scruggs (Covington, Virginia), who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Scruggs and Joyce Scruggs of Covington. He is survived by: his sons, Jason (Whitney) of Stephens City, VA and Phillip (Kassi) of Middletown, VA.; his sisters, Tammy Scruggs-Duncan (Kenny) and Jean Ann Anderson (Corbin); and his nieces and nephews, Erin Via (Creigh), Evelyn Amos (Joe), Donovan Anderson (Autumn) and Patrick (Jessica Scruggs). He is also survived by great-niece and four great-nephews.
